🌟Important note: Print at 100% - no scaling - on 8.5 x 11" paper. This will keep the ruler in the guide accurate.
What You’ll Need
-
Beads (pony beads work great)
-
Stretchy elastic cord (beading cord)
-
Scissors
-
Optional: binder clip or tape (helps hold the string while kids bead, strongly recommended!)
Adult supervision recommended for younger kids (small parts + scissors).
Quick Sizing Guide
-
Kids: aim for 6–6.5 inches of beads
-
Adults: aim for 7–7.5 inches of beads
🌟Tip: Line up your beads under the included ruler first—then string. It’s the easiest way to get the perfect fit and pattern.
How It Works (Fast Overview)
-
Cut about 11–12 inches of stretchy cord
-
Choose a bead pattern (ABAB, rainbow, name beads, etc.)
-
String beads until you reach the right length (about 6–6.5 inches of beads for kids or 7–7.5 inches for adults)
-
Tie the knot using the included guide (grown-up help encouraged for younger kids)
-
Snip ends (and optionally tuck ends back through beads)
🌟Tip: Filling your bracelet with beads up to the right length makes tying the knot much easier than leaving exposed string. Beads help position the knot in the right place.
